Every year we host a Tree Planting for an International Japanese Group. This year we will be preparing the site on Nov 17 in readiness for their arrival on Wednesday Nov 20. Access is via Goomboora Park and be prepared to dig some holes.

After that we will be having a walk along the Freshwater Creek where we planted the Redlynch bike path two years ago, to scope out works for our 2020 Citizen Science project. Would love your ideas!

Bring sun smart gear, covered shoes, gloves and water. Morning tea supplied at 9am by the creek.

Directions: Park at Goomboora Park and walk along the bike path that starts near the playground. When you get to Betty’s bench seat, turn right towards St. Andrews College and you will see us there on the right. There will be signs. Phone 0435 016 906 if you get lost.

Future dates include:
Wednesday November 20 – Japanese Group Tree Planting (Volunteers required at the same spot)
Sunday December 8 – Baby Welcoming Tree Planting & Christmas Break Up (Way downstream at our northern RMP plantings)
